Personalised Men’s Sterling Silver and Vitreous Enamel Zodiac Necklace

Hand hand enamelled using glass enamel. A small round initial charm can be added.

Handmade to order by Sally in her garden studio, the back of the pendant can be engraved with a short message or date.

The ancient technique of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is a slow process – many thin layers of finely ground glass coloured with pigment are hand applied to the etched silver. Each layer is kiln fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver. At least five layers of enamel are applied to each piece which is then hand polished to reveal the lustrous, glossy smooth surface of the glass with colour that will never fade.

Available in a choice of five enamel colours: grey/black, deep blue, dark green, emerald green and dark red.

Please note that colour of the enamel may vary slightly due to the hand worked process.

The pendants hang on a sterling silver fine curb chain measuring 50cm. We have longer or shorter chains if you would prefer, please just get in touch to enquire about these.

The necklace is presented in a Sally Clay Jewellery box tied with a black velvet ribbon.
