Silver and Glass Enamel Three Initial Monogram Pendant

Available in a choice of five enamel colours (aquamarine, palest pink, lilac, teal and emerald green) the pendant is hand made by Sally in her studio.

The ancient technique of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is a slow process – many thin layers of finely ground glass coloured with pigment are hand applied to the etched silver. Each layer is kiln fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver. At least five layers of enamel are applied to each piece which is then hand polished to reveal the lustrous, glossy smooth surface of the glass with colour that will never fade.

The pendant hangs on a sterling silver chain with tiny silver beads measuring 50cm. We have longer or shorter chains available, please just get in touch to enquire about these.

Please allow up to two weeks for delivery – each pendant is cut from fine silver, engraved and then hand enamelled with vitreous enamel – this all takes time, but it will be worth the wait!
