Silver and Glass Enamel Entwined Monogram Pendant

The art of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is an ancient and time-consuming process that requires skill and patience. Sally carefully hand-applies multiple thin layers of finely ground glass, coloured with pigment, to the etched silver. Each layer is then kiln-fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver, creating a strong and lasting bond. This process is repeated several times for each pendant, resulting in a lustrous, smooth surface with a rich, vibrant colour that will never fade.

The pendant hangs on a sterling silver chain with tiny silver beads, measuring 50cm in length. If you prefer a longer or shorter chain, please don't hesitate to contact us to inquire about these options.
