Silver and Glass Enamel Three Initial Monogram Pendant
The ancient technique of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is a meticulous and time-consuming process that requires great patience. Sally hand-applies multiple thin layers of finely ground glass, coloured with pigment, to the etched silver. Each layer is then kiln-fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver, creating a strong and durable bond. This process is repeated several time for each pendant, resulting in a lustrous, smooth surface with a rich, vibrant colour that will never fade.
The pendant hangs on a sterling silver chain that has tiny silver beads, measuring 50cm in length. If you prefer a longer or shorter chain, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us to enquire about these options.
This necklace makes a perfect and very special gift for a loved one to treasure forever. It is ideal for celebrating milestone birthdays such as an 18th or 21st birthday, or for commemorating any other special occasion. It also makes a thoughtful and unique christening gift for a girl.

Please allow up to two weeks for delivery, as each pendant is cut from fine silver, engraved, and then hand-enamelled with vitreous enamel. This process takes time, but the end result is a truly one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery that is well worth the wait.
Due to the handcrafted nature of the pendant and variations in viewing colours on different devices, the colour of the enamel may vary slightly from the product images.
