The ancient technique of applying vitreous enamel is a meticulous and time-consuming process, requiring great skill and patience. We hand-apply multiple thin layers of finely ground glass, coloured with pigment, to the etched silver. Each layer is then kiln-fired at high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver. With at least five layers of enamel applied to each piece, the result is a lustrous, glossy, and smooth surface with colours that will never fade.

The signet ring features a softly rounded shape on both the inside and outside, ensuring a perfect and comfortable fit on your finger.

Please allow up to two weeks for delivery, as each ring is hand cast to order, engraved, and then hand-enamelled with vitreous enamel before being sent to the London assay office for hallmarking. This process takes time, but the end result is a truly unique and high-quality piece of jewellery that is well worth the wait.

As each ring is custom-made to your specifications, we are unable to exchange or resize the signet ring once it has been crafted. If resizing is necessary after receiving your ring, we recommend visiting your local jeweller for assistance.
