The ancient technique of applying vitreous (glass) enamel is a slow process – many thin layers of finely ground glass coloured with pigment are hand applied to the etched silver. Each layer is kiln fired at extremely high temperatures to fuse the glass to the silver. At least five layers of enamel are applied to each piece which is then hand polished to reveal the lustrous, glossy smooth surface of the glass with colour that will never fade.

The ring is softly rounded on the inside and outside – this shape offers a comfortable fit on the finger.

Please allow up to two weeks for delivery – each ring is hand cast to order, engraved and then hand enamelled with vitreous enamel before being sent to the London assay office for hallmarking and this all takes time, but it will be worth the wait!
